10.3.1.8. Diagnostics

Here only short data on diagnostics of system of injection by means of a control lamp of "CHECK ENGINE" are provided. In detail diagnostics with use of special devices and diagnostic cards is described in the separate "Repair manual of system of the central injection of fuel".
EBU constantly carries out self-diagnostics on some functions of management. As the EBU language for the indication of a source of malfunction serve diagnostic codes. Codes are two-digit numbers in the range from 12 to 61. At different control units codes of malfunctions can differ a little from each other. Interpretation of codes of malfunctions of an electronic control unit for system of the central injection of fuel with import accessories is presented in tab. 10-2.

When malfunction is found by EBU, the code is brought in memory and the control lamp of "CHECK ENGINE" joins. It does not mean that the engine has to be immediately stopped, but the reason of inclusion of a control lamp has to be found at the first opportunity.
