Dismantling

For dismantling of the pump:

— disconnect a pump housing from a cover of 6 (fig. 3-62);

— fix a cover in a vice, using laying, and remove a krylchatka from the roller a stripper of A.40026 (fig. 3-63);

— if necessary remove a nave of 2 (fig. 3-64) of a pulley of the fan from the roller by means of a stripper of A.40005/1/5;

— turn out the lock screw 5 (fig. 3-62) and take out the bearing with the pump roller;

— remove an epiploon 8 of a cover of the 6th case.

Check an axial gap in the bearing. This operation should be done surely if considerable noise of the pump was noted. The gap should not exceed 0,13 mm at load of 49 N (5 kgfs). At a big gap replace the bearing.

The epiploon of the pump and laying between the pump and the block of cylinders at repair is recommended to be replaced.

Examine the case and a cover of the pump, deformations or cracks are not allowed.

Assembly

You make assembly of the pump in the following order:

— establish by a mandrel an epiploon, without allowing a distortion, in a case cover;

— press the bearing with the roller in a cover so that the nest of the lock screw coincided with an opening in a pump housing cover;

— wrap the lock screw of the bearing and fuller nest contours that the screw did not weaken;

— to a napressuyta by means of A.60430 adaptation (fig. 3 — 65) on the roller a pulley nave, having sustained the size of 84,4±0,1 mm. If the nave from metallo-ceramics, then after removal to napressovyvat only new;

— to a napressuyta a krylchatka on the roller by means of A.60430 adaptation providing technologically a gap between shovels of a krylchatka and a pump housing of 0,9-1,3 mm also collect a pump housing with a cover, having established between them laying.
