4.3.7. Balancing of shaft

If at repair details of cardan transfer were replaced, then its balancing is obligatory. Dynamic balancing of driveshafts in a collected state is carried out at the special stand.

With a frequency of rotation of 5500 min.-1 the greatest admissible imbalance on support A, B, C (fig. 4-51) should not exceed 1,71 N · mm (175 гс · oo), and when checking balancing — 2,15 N · mm (220 гс · oo). The equilibration is reached by a privarivaniye of metal plates 25 (see fig. 4-38).
