Suspension bracket levers
Deformation of the top and lower levers is defined on A.95716 adaptation.

Install the lower lever so that the mandrel of 1 (fig. 5-14) for centering was jointed with a cone of a finger of the spherical hinge of the lever, and adjusting fingers of adaptation entered openings 3 axes of the lever.
The mandrel for centering has to enter respectively the right or central opening of adaptation depending on what lever is checked, right or left.
Sign of deformation of the lever is the impossibility of introduction without effort of fingers of adaptation to openings 3 axes of the lever, and also a bad joint of a mandrel 1 with a cone of a finger of the spherical hinge.

The top lever is installed on adaptation (fig. 5-15) in the turned situation so that the mandrel for centering 2 precisely coincided with a shaft of a finger of the spherical hinge 1, and the finger 4 passed in openings of rubber-metal hinges of the lever.
The size of deformation of the lever is determined by difficulty of input of a finger 4 in openings of levers and by a bad joint of a conic nest of a mandrel 2 with the conic surface of a finger of the spherical hinge 1. The finger 4 has to enter openings of hinges without special effort.
At small deformation levers govern, and at big — replace.

Spherical hinges
Be convinced of safety of antisplash covers of hinges. Ruptures, cracks, peelings of rubber from metal fittings, traces of leak of lubricant are inadmissible.
Check whether there is no wear of working surfaces of spherical hinges, turning manually a spherical finger. The free wheeling of a finger or its jamming are inadmissible.

More exact check of a condition of the top spherical hinge in size of a radial and axial gap is carried out on adaptation 02.8701.9502. For this purpose install the spherical hinge 1 (fig. 5 — 16. a) in adaptation nest also clamp it the screw. Install the indicator 2 in adaptation arm so that the leg of the indicator rested against the side surface of the case of the hinge, and the arrow of the indicator stood on zero.
Establish a dynamometer key 3 in the top nest of adaptation and, having put to it the moment of 196 N · m (20 kgfs · l) in both parties, determine by the indicator 2 a total radial gap in the spherical hinge. If it exceeds 0,7 mm — replace the hinge new.
The axial gap in the spherical hinge is similarly checked, previously having changed its fastening in adaptation as it is specified fig. 5 — 16. century. The axial gap in the hinge is allowed no more than 0,7 mm.

Rubber-metal hinges
Signs at which it is necessary to replace rubber-metal hinges are described in the subsection "Definition of a Condition of Details of a Forward Suspension Bracket". The replacement procedure is following.

Lower lever. Establish on a mandrel of 3 (fig. 5-17) and a punch of a press press an axis of 1 lever to a vypressovka of the hinge 2 of an opening. For a vypressovka of the second hinge turn the lever and repeat operation.

Carry out a press fitting of hinges of the lower levers by means of the expansion A.74177/2 plug (fig. 5-18) clamped in a vice and A.74177/1 adaptation. Install the lever with axis 1 on adaptation 2, put on the hinge an axis and press it in a lever nest by means of adaptation 3 (A.74177/1). Then repeat the above described operations for a press fitting of the second hinge on the other side of the lever.

Top lever. For a vypressovka of hinges install A.47046 adaptation (fig. 5-19) on the lever so that the screw head of adaptation was directed inside. Zavertyvany of adaptation screw to a vypressuyta hinge 2.

For a press fitting insert the hinge into a nest of the lever and install A.47046 adaptation (fig. 5-20) complete with a cap 3. Wrapping adaptation screw, press the hinge in a lever nest.
Rotary fists

For check establish a rotary fist on the caliber of A.96008 (fig. 5-21) clamped in a vice so that its surface under an epiploon of a nave of a wheel coincided with a caliber opening.
Enter two side adjusting fingers of caliber into fist openings. If introduction of fingers demands some effort, the fist means it is deformed and it needs to be replaced new.
