5.2.1. Removal and installation of a suspension bracket

Removal. Lift a back part of the car and establish on supports. Remove back wheels.
Disconnect the driveshaft from a flange of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer.
Disconnect a hose of a hydraulic actuator of brakes from the steel tube established on the bridge and take the measures preventing leak of liquid from system of brakes.
Disconnect an arm of a back cable of the parking brake from a body, remove an ottyazhny spring of a forward cable and, having turned off a lock-nut and an adjusting nut, release a branch of a back cable. Disconnect from an arm on a bridge beam draft of the drive of the regulator of pressure of back brakes. Disconnect the top ends of shock-absorbers.
Put a hydraulic jack under a beam of the back bridge. Disconnect longitudinal and cross bars from arms on a body, lower a jack and remove the bridge.
Start dismantling of a suspension bracket:
— remove shock-absorbers from arms on a bridge beam;
— disconnect longitudinal and cross bars from arms on a bridge beam.

Details of a back suspension bracket are shown in fig. 5-29.
Installation of a back suspension bracket is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.
At the same time establish on a class A spring suspension bracket (with yellow marking). In exceptional cases, when there is no springs of such class, installation of springs of a class B is allowed (with green marking).
To exclude damage and excessive tightening of elastic plugs of hinges of bars and shock-absorbers:

— load a back part of the car so that the distance from a bridge beam to a body longeron measured in 100 mm from an arm of a cross bar (fig. 5-30) made 125 mm;
— tighten a dynamometer key of a nut on bolts of fastening longitudinal and cross bars, and also on fingers of fastening of shock-absorbers to a beam of the bridge and to a body.
