8.1. Scheme of electric equipment

Electric equipment of the car is executed according to the single-wire scheme — negative conclusions of sources and consumers of the electric power are connected to the weight which performs function of the second wire. The scheme of electric equipment of the car is submitted in fig. 8-3.
The majority of chains join the ignition switch. Power-supply circuits of sound signals, the lighter, a stoplight, a plafond, the plug socket for a portable lamp, a power-supply circuit of the alarm system, hours and lamps of the alarm system of open forward doors are always included (irrespective of the provision of a key in the ignition switch).
Electric equipment of the car is protected by the fuses installed in the assembly block.
The chain of a charge of the rechargeable battery, chain of ignition and launch of the engine, winding of the relay of inclusion of near and far light of headlights are not protected by safety locks.
Before replacing the fused safety lock, find out the reason of its combustion and eliminate it. When troubleshooting it is recommended to see the chains specified in tab. 8-1 which are protected by this safety lock.

Till 1988 lamps of fog light in back lamps and a control lamp of fog light were protected by a safety lock No. 17 of the assembly block. Since 1988 they are protected by the separate safety lock located in the plastic case in a plait of wires about the switch of fog light. This safety lock is calculated on 8 A.
Besides, till 1988 the lighting lamp of a ware box was protected not by a safety lock No. 15, but a safety lock No. 2.

Assembly block. All safety locks and auxiliary relays are installed in the separate assembly block (fig. 8 — 1.), located in a motor compartment. Besides, via the assembly block connection of plaits of wires of a motor compartment with a plait of wires of the dashboard and with a back plait is carried out. Conditional numbers of plugs in connecting blocks of the assembly block and the scheme of internal connections of the assembly block are shown in fig. 8-3.

PREVENTIONS
At repair work in order to avoid short circuits it is necessary to disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the rechargeable battery.
It is not allowed to establish the self-made or any other safety locks which are not provided by a car design since it can lead to an overheat of wires and to the fire.
At verification of the scheme of electric equipment of the car it is not allowed to close on the mass of a wire since it can lead to burn-out of current carrying paths on printed circuit boards of the assembly block.
At removal of the relay and safety locks in the assembly block it is not allowed to use metal screw-drivers since it leads to short circuit of conclusions of the relay and burn-out of current carrying paths of the assembly block.

On cars assembly blocks of domestic production or made in Slovenia can be installed. The last are non-demountable and are not subject to repair. In case of violation of internal connections they have to be replaced with new.
Assembly blocks of domestic production can be sorted and replaced at them the block of printed circuit boards. The pripayka of wires instead of the fused current carrying paths on printed circuit boards is allowed, but only if the rassoyedineniye of printed circuit boards for this purpose is not required.
