8.12.5. Check of devices

Index of temperature of cooling liquid
The device operates together with the TM-106 sensor. At resistance of the sensor of 1000-5000 Ohms, the arrow has to be in the beginning of a scale, and at resistance of 98-100 Ohms — at the beginning of the red site (at a temperature of 20 °C).
Index of level of fuel
The device is used together with the BM-150 sensor which is installed in the fuel tank. This sensor the control lamp of a reserve of fuel when in a tank there were 4–6,5 l of gasoline also joins.
At resistance of the sensor of 285-335 Ohms of the shooter has to be in the beginning of a scale, at resistance of 100-135 Ohms — in the middle of a scale, and at resistance of the sensor of 7-25 Ohms — has to deviate in the end of a scale.
Index of pressure of oil
The index was established in combinations of devices of release till 1988 and later was replaced ekonometry.
The index was applied together with the MM393A sensor changing resistance of an electric chain depending on oil pressure in the engine lubrication system. At resistance of the sensor of 285-335 Ohms of the shooter of the index has to be in the beginning of a scale, at resistance of 100-135 Ohms — in the middle of a scale, and at resistance of 0-25 Ohms — at the end of a scale.
In the index there was a control lamp of insufficient pressure of oil which was included by the MM-120 sensor. In 1988 this lamp was transferred to a middle part of a combination of devices.
Tachometer
In a combination of devices the electronic tachometer which principle of action is based on measurement of frequency of following of impulses of tension in primary chain of system of ignition of the engine is established.
The tachometer is checked at the stand imitating system of ignition of the car. Having attached a tachometer to the scheme of the stand the same as on the car, establish tension in primary chain of 14 V and a gap in a rated sportsman of the stand of 7 mm. Rotate the ignition distributor roller with such speed that the arrow of a tachometer reached one of divisions of a scale. At this moment check that the frequency of rotation of the roller of the distributor was in the limits specified in tab. 8-5.


Speedometer
The speedometer consists of the arrow index of speed of the movement of the car (in km/h), the total counter of the way (in km) passed by the car and the daily counter of a run of the car. Indications of the daily counter can be dropped the handle which is taken out on a guard of devices. For this purpose turn the handle counterclockwise.
Not to damage the counter, it is impossible to drop its indications at the movement of the car.
You make check of a speedometer, comparing its indications to reference. Data for check are provided in tab. 8-6.


Voltmeter
Check the voltmeter, comparing its indications to the control device of a class of accuracy 1,0 are not worse. The error of indications of the voltmeter on marks 12 and 14 V should not exceed +0,7 and-0,1 In at a temperature (20±5) °C. Before check the voltmeter needs to be sustained at a voltage of 12 V within 2 min.
Hours
Watch of the AChZh-1 type with the contactless magnetoelectric drive of balance works irrespective of the provision of a key in the ignition switch. The maximum error of indications of hours for 96 h at a voltage of 13 V and temperature of 20 °C makes
4 min., and at a temperature from -18 °C to 55 °C it is equal to 8 min.
Hours fasten by means of the plastic ring which is put on the watch case and densely entering a nest. At inclusion of lighting of devices the dial of hours is lit with a lamp. For replacement of the fused lamp it is necessary to take out at first hours from a nest, and then the boss with a lamp from a lamp holder on the watch case.
Ekonometr
For check of an ekonometr below a scale there is a white control point corresponding to depression of 30 kPa. The tolerance of indications of an ekonometr in a control point has to be ±3,2 kPa.
