8.5.3.2. Possible malfunctions of system of ignition, their reason and methods of elimination

The engine is not started
1. Current does not pass through contacts
breaker:
1. Do the following:
- contacts of the breaker are polluted, oxidized or burned; the increased gap between contacts;
- smooth out contacts and adjust a gap between them;
- fastening is weakened or tips of wires in chains of low voltage, break in wires or their short circuit with a weight are oxidized;
- check wires and their connections;
replace the damaged wires;
- the switch (contacts "30/1" and "15" do not become isolated) or the ignition relay is faulty;
- check, replace a faulty contact part of the switch of ignition or the relay of ignition;
- the condenser is punched;
- replace the condenser;
- break in primary winding of the coil of ignition
- replace the ignition coil
2. Contacts of the breaker are not disconnected:
2. Do the following:
- adjustment of a gap between contacts of the breaker is broken;
- the textolite block or the plug a breaker rychazhka is strongly worn-out;
- adjust a gap between contacts;
- replace contact group;
- the bearing of a mobile plate of the breaker failed;
- replace the bearing or the distributor of ignition
3. High voltage to spark plugs does not move:

- burn-out of the resistor in an ignition distributor rotor;
- replace the resistor;
- the ignition coil is damaged
- replace the ignition coil
4. Electrodes of spark plugs or a gap between them are greasy does not meet standard
